In the fast lane....Boston to Terre Haute

Welp, day 2 of driving and we finally arrived in Terre Haute.  Can't say that it's the most exciting place we've ever been to.  But, it's been nice to have a quiet night with some pretty delish Italian food and the ever trusty Netflix.

Leftovers for lunch! Thanks Mark and Sal

Yesterday we drove about 10 hours to Cleveland, where we spent the night with our favorite murse (male nurse) Dan, and his lovely gf, Shauna.

Dan's awesome apartment in Lakewood, OH

We had an amazing meal at this cool bar called Town Hall, and then we went to get ice cream at Mitchell's, which is a former movie theatre turned ice cream factory.  They have a viewing gallery on the second floor so we got to watch them making some late night ice cream while we enjoyed our own.
Pat had Bangkok Bazaar (a noodle soup) and Amy had Street Tacos

After that, we went and had our favorite dessert, beer, at the Great Lakes Brewing Company.  They had just released their Christmas Ale, so the place was absolutely insane, crawling with twenty-somethings dressed as Santas.  We were bummed that Pat forgot his elf costume (not that we have room for it in the car).

After that we called it a night and turned in back at Dan's cozy and welcoming apartment.

This morning we slept in a little later and after getting lost in Cleveland, finally found the Borderline Cafe, where we had an AH-MAZING breakfast.  We both got  Bacon Avocado Eggs Bennie, with chipotle lime crema sauce and GUAC.

The rest of the day has not been nearly amazing as that breakfast was.  We drove about 6 hours today, before landing at the Drury Inn (aka the Dreary Inn).  But, after driving through the city to pick up dinner, we've had a low key night.

Tomorrow we're off to Topeka and are soooooo  excited to have some BBQ there!  We'll update again tomorrow night!

Until tomorrow,
A & P
